We’re Eric and Aaron Komo and welcome to our lives. E’s from MN. A’s from HI. We met in NYC, got married on O’ahu and we’re settling into our first home in the Twin Cities.

November 20, 2016 in Kailua on the island of O’ahu.

Why a blog in 2020?

While it feels a bit early-2000s, we wanted to create a space for the stories of gay married life that in 2020 have yet to be told. There’s a gap in positive representation of gay marriage online. Don’t believe it? A quick google search of “married gay men” will generate a poor showing of men like us and the quality of life we lead.

Don’t fret. This won’t be our cyber soapbox. Just know that in between the lifestyle content of what we’re eating, where we’re going and how we’re breaking a sweat, you’ll get to know us in a way that we hope makes you feel connected to us and our community. As our moms like to say, “If people could just meet you two, they’d feel differently.”

So, here we are and all are welcome. It’s nice to meet you. Everything here comes from the heart and all opinions are our own.
