Expanding my gender expression by seeking gender-neutral and gender-inclusive clothing.

The backstory
My preferred pronouns are he, him, his. I gender identify as male. And as my personal gender expression continues to evolve, I unlock news ways of seeing myself, my body and how I present to others.
Over the past year, I’ve become more comfortable with the idea of breaking gender norms with my clothing. However, while I’m usually comfortable reflecting on who-am-I-anyway ideas of myself - sexuality, career path, ethics and ideals, this has been the swirliest. I find myself wanting to set rules. “Aaron, we don’t wear heels.” Or, “Stay away from prints.” I think a part of why it’s been such a process is because I don’t have a clear vision yet. And that’s okay. For now, I am exploring with three things in mind: comfort, form and variety. Below are a few things I’ve found that fit me.

Things I’m loving
Tunics: This T-Dress from UNIQLO is a great basic for layering or lounging. The pockets are a plus! I’m 6-feet tall and got a medium.
Jumpsuits: I like when a jumpsuit feels structured and fitted. I lucked out and got this denim jumpsuit on clearance from Target. I got a large.
High waists and wide legs: I could live in these All in Motion pants from Target. I’m a 31 waist and got a medium.
